Male Pelvic Health

Pelvic health problems for men have received little attention from the medical community in general. Pelvic health challenges for men may include

  • Incontinence (leaking)
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Pain (including prostate, scrotal, penile, anorectal, and sacroiliac joint/tailbone pain)
  • Frequent Urination at Night
  • Retention of Urine
  • Sexual Problems
  • Chronic Constipation

Problems can arise from weak or tight pelvic floor muscles, leading to pain and other types of issues that interfere with normal daily function. Physical therapy can address and correct these issues. After a thorough evaluation, we will tailor a program specific to your problem. We will also work closely with your other healthcare providers to make sure your treatment is moving in the right direction.
